François Livi
François Livi è professore emerito di Lingua e letteratura italiana all’Università di Paris Sorbonne. È membro dell’E.L.C.I. (EA 1496 Équipe de recherche Littérature et Culture Italiennes), codirettore dal 1994 della «Revue des Études Italiennes» (Paris) e dal 1986 è presidente del Centro di Ricerca ‘Pierre Emmanuel’ (Paris). È uno dei maggiori studiosi della letteratura italiana e francese moderna e contemporanea. Ha dato contributi fondamentali sulla lirica di primo Novecento e sui rapporti tra la cultura francese e quella italiana ed europea.
François Livi is Professor Emeritus of Italian Language and Literature at the Paris Sorbonne University. He is a member of E.L.C.I. (EA 1496 Équipe de recherché Littérature et Culture Italiennes); he is co-editor of the «Revue des Étude Italiennes» (Paris). Since 1986 he has been President of the Research Centre ‘Pierre Emmanuel’ in Paris. He is one of the most distinguished scholars of modern and contemporary Italian and French literature. He has contributed groundbreaking writings on early twentieth-century poetry as well as on the relationship between French and Italian/European culture.
